My Version of “The Perfect Day”

Picture this:

The ice cubes clink against the glass, and you hear the gentle sound of waves in the background.

You take a sip of the cool, tangy mojito, the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Fresh lime and fragrant mint fill your senses as the drink cools you down on a hot day. The warm, boozy kick from the rum hits just right.

The sensation of the wind rustling through the palm trees, coupled with some jams from The Weeknd drowns the world out momentarily.

Aah, pure bliss… absolute heaven on earth.

That must be how my version of “The Perfect Day” sounds like.

Correct.

Well not quite.

So, here’s how I picture my version of “The Perfect Day” instead:

☁️ Morning ☁️

8.00 am
Snooze my alarm 2–3 times before finally waking up.

8.30 am
Practice mindfulness meditation and write down 3 things in my gratitude journal.

Sometimes I get lazy and just “refer” to my gratitude journal yesterday.

9.00 am
Down a huge glass of water, followed by a same huge glass of vitamin C tablet infused water and followed by…
